There were plans at one stage for a straight to DVD sequel, but the project was eventually abandoned. It seems strange - and not unwelcome - that a successful and economic film such as The Craft wouldn't get any kind of sequel treatment, but that's how things have played out. Their choice to do so inevitably has some consequences. The movie, which starred Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, Fairuza Balk and Skeet Ulrich, told of a group of teenage girls who practice witchcraft. Andrew Fleming's 1996 movie The Craft was a small hit on its original release, but it's endured far better than many of its contemporaries.
